Dina Dakar is a Palestinian American who was born and raised in Kuwait and moved to the United States in 2001. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from the University of Cincinnati and has a master’s degree in Nutrition. Dina has worked for many years as a dedicated dietitian and has lived in the Cincinnati and Dayton areas. She is married to Dr. Rami Alashram, and they are settled in Centerville, Ohio, with their two sons, Omar, 8, and Yousef, 3. She is passionate about strengthening and uniting the Arab community in the area. Dina strives to raise proud Arab youth who stay connected to their culture and integrate well into American society while keeping their Arab identity strong.
