Arab Community Awards

The Arab Community Awards are made to recognize the members of our community who are making the Dayton Region a better place to live, work and play, while also either representing, or contributing to, the Arab American community.

We will be recognizing individuals again at the 2018 Hafla – Saturday, April 28th.

The Laurence Warwar Community Impact Award

Named after our late Matriarch, Laurence Warwar, who poured her heart and soul into creating our organization and promoting our Arab heritage through exceptional volunteer efforts and a strong commitment to social responsibility, the Laurence Warwar Arab Community Awards are made every year at our yearly DAAF Hafla to  recognize members of our community who are making impactful civic, cultural and /or entrepreneurial contributions while also either representing, or contributing to the Arab American community.
