Maz Jobrani is an Iranian-American comedian and actor. He is a founding member of the Axis of Evil Comedy Tour and has had three Showtime comedy specials: Brown and Friendly, I Come in Peace, and most recently, I’m Not a Terrorist, But I’ve Played One on TV, based on his best-selling book of the same name. He is a regular panelist on NPR’s Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me and has given two TED Talks. Jobrani’s comedy pulls from his background as an Iran-born immigrant raised in Northern California. Jobrani’s first original Netflix comedy special Immigrant is currently available for streaming.
